Vikki M., from Alaska, designed a coupler/lead combination
for her brace of Standard Long Haired Dachshunds. The lead has a snap so
it can be used with or without the coupler. The coupler has rings and slip
knots in place of snaps. Good job Vikki.

This "British" lead is braided with a swivel
and decorated with a lampwork bead arrangement. It, appropriately enough,
went to England and will be worn by whippet Ch. Klondyke Starlight jw (Rue),
owner by Mrs. I. Potts.

Special dogs have special needs. Donna Fanok uses this "British" style
lead with a swivel, leather slip knot and a permanent knot on the
inside of the ring to prevent the collar from becoming too tight and harming the
throat of her toy Pap named Kelsey. Great idea Donna .. |
