Note: Round braided
slip collars stay up under the dog's chin much better than the metal
chain collars, however the collar will wear sooner than we like where
the ring rests when fitted on the dog .

leather than 3/32" leather

Use a leather loop in place of the sliding metal ring- Slips,
but with slight resistance.
Or, add a leather slip knot to slide down to the ring when the
collar is in place to slow down slip.
If using this type remember to
add a little length for the knot and to allow it room to slip.
Or what if I put the knot on
the inside of the ring to slow down the tightening effect on the
dogs neck? It could be a slip knot or a permanent
stop knot.
If you wish the permanent stop
knot to prevent tightening I will need to know at what
length you want the knot to be tied.
